Foster-to-Adopt
So You’re thinking aBout adopting but want to foster the cat first…this is the program for you!
Our Foster-to-Adopt Program is available for cats currently not in the lounge. These cats are available to be fostered before their adoption is finalized. Since you are not able to meet the kitty first, we offer a foster period of seven days for you to see if it's a good fit. You will take them home and get to know their personality over the week. If after seven days all is going well, we would finalize the adoption paperwork.
The cats in the lounge at The Catcade are not available for Foster-to-Adopt. Only the cats listed on this page are available for FTA.
If there is a cat below that interests you, please email Christine at adopt(at)thecatcade.org
Bourbon - male, 2 years old
This handsome boy isn’t afraid to show you his soft side, which is… every side. He loves people, like can’t get enough of them. In return for snuggles, he just asks that you tell him how handsome he is by giving him some chin scritches. Bourbon also won’t turn down a good laser pointer session and when catnip comes out, he’s ready to party. Mostly though, he just wants to give you headbutts and stare at you lovingly.
Bourbon gets along with dogs really well and would also do well with other chill cats in the home.
